Dependent Pass & LTVP Check Up
The Dependent Pass (DP) Medical Check Up and the Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) Medical Check Up are required for certain applicants in Singapore. These medical screenings are mandated by either the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), depending on the type of pass and duration of stay.
These check-ups help ensure that dependents and long-term visitors are free from communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis and HIV, and are in overall good health. Whether you're applying for a Dependent Pass under MOM or an LTVP under ICA, Regis Medical is an authorised clinic approved to carry out these screenings efficiently and accurately.

General
An LTVP medical check-up is a health screening required by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for individuals applying for or renewing a Long-Term Visit Pass in Singapore. The check-up ensures applicants are free from certain communicable diseases and medically fit to stay in Singapore.
The standard LTVP medical check-up typically includes:
- Physical examination by our doctor
- Chest X-ray (to screen for tuberculosis)
- Blood test for HIV and syphilis
The in-clinic consultation and sample collection usually take about 10–15 minutes. Chest X-ray is done at our partner imaging centres. Results are typically ready within 1–3 working days.
Please bring the following:
- NRIC, FIN, or passport
- Official LTVP medical form (if provided by ICA/MOM)
- Any previous medical records, if relevant
Yes. Our clinic can provide the results in the official medical form format required by ICA or MOM. We will stamp, sign, and return the report to you, and you may submit it as part of your LTVP application. Electronic submission may also be available depending on the requirement.
No fasting is required for the standard LTVP medical check-up. However, if you are doing additional health screening at the same time (e.g., cholesterol, glucose), our doctor may advise fasting.
Walk-ins are accepted, but we recommend booking an appointment in advance to reduce waiting time and ensure the chest X-ray can be scheduled on the same day if required.
If a communicable disease or abnormality is detected, our doctor will explain the findings and provide appropriate medical advice or referral. Depending on ICA/MOM requirements, the outcome of the test may affect your LTVP application.
