Symptoms of Syphilis by Stage

When to take the Syphilis test?

How You’ll Receive Results
- Turnaround time: Results are usually available within 20 minutes for the rapid point-of-care test. For the standard TPPA test done as part of work permit or 6ME screenings, results usually take 3–5 working days to be available.
What the Results Mean
- Negative result: If the result is negative, no further action is usually required. However, if you have had a recent exposure or ongoing symptoms, our doctor may recommend repeat testing after a window period depending on your clinical history.
- Positive result: If the test is positive, our doctor will arrange a review session to explain the findings in detail. Additional confirmatory blood tests may be recommended before starting treatment.
