Health and Safety

Are vaccines safe for employees with chronic medical conditions?

Yes, most vaccines are safe and even more important for staff with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, or lung conditions. Our doctors will review each employee’s medical history before vaccination and advise if any adjustments are needed.

Can pregnant employees receive vaccines?

Certain vaccines, like the influenza and Tdap vaccines, are safe and recommended during pregnancy. Others, such as live vaccines, are not. Our doctor will assess and recommend what is appropriate for pregnant staff.

What if an employee has severe allergies?

Employees with known severe allergies (e.g., to vaccine components like eggs, yeast, or latex) should inform us before vaccination. Our team screens for allergy history and takes precautions, including monitoring after vaccination.

Are vaccines suitable for immunocompromised employees?

Yes, but with caution. Inactivated vaccines (like flu or hepatitis) are generally safe. Live vaccines (like Yellow Fever or MMR) may not be suitable for staff with weakened immunity. Our doctor will provide alternative recommendations where needed.

What should employees do if they feel unwell on vaccination day?

Employees who have fever, acute illness, or are feeling unwell should postpone vaccination. Our team will advise on when it is safe to return for their dose.

Can employees take multiple vaccines on the same day?

Yes, many vaccines can be given together safely (e.g., flu and hepatitis). Our doctor will review the employee’s health and recommend whether same-day vaccination or spacing doses is better.

How are employees monitored after vaccination?

Employees are observed on-site for 15–30 minutes to ensure there are no immediate reactions. Emergency medical equipment and trained staff are always present during drives.

What are the common side effects employees may experience?

Mild side effects such as arm soreness, low-grade fever, or fatigue can occur and usually resolve within 1–2 days. Our doctor will provide aftercare advice and when to seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

Can staff on medication still receive vaccines?

Most medications do not interfere with vaccination. Employees should declare any ongoing prescriptions (e.g., blood thinners, immunosuppressants), and our doctor will advise on suitability and timing.

General Enquiry

What vaccines are commonly requested by companies?

The most common corporate requests are for Influenza (flu), Hepatitis A & B, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), MMR, and Pneumococcal vaccines. Depending on industry or travel needs, we also provide HPV, shingles, meningococcal, typhoid, Japanese Encephalitis, Yellow Fever, and other travel-specific vaccines.

Can you customise vaccination programmes by industry?

Yes. For example, construction and manual labour staff may need tetanus coverage, F&B staff often require hepatitis protection, and corporate offices typically request flu vaccination to reduce sick leave. We tailor programmes to each company’s risk profile.

Can vaccinations be conducted at our office?

Yes. We provide on-site vaccination drives where our medical team comes to your workplace. This minimises disruption and is ideal for seasonal flu campaigns or larger teams.

Do you also provide in-clinic options?

Yes. Employees can visit our GP clinics individually for vaccinations, boosters, or urgent travel requirements. This is suitable for smaller companies, senior management, or staff who miss the on-site session.

What group size is required for an on-site vaccination drive?

We typically recommend a minimum of 20 employees for on-site sessions. Smaller teams may find in-clinic appointments more practical.

How do on-site vaccination drives work?

Our doctors and nurses set up at your office and vaccinate employees in small groups or time slots. Sessions are scheduled around work hours to minimise downtime, with most vaccinations taking only a few minutes per employee.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 1 month ahead for corporate drives to secure vaccine stock and logistics. Smaller in-clinic groups can be arranged more quickly. A deposit may be required to confirm the booking.

How is pricing structured for corporate clients?

Pricing depends on the vaccine type, number of employees, and whether the session is in-clinic or on-site. We offer tiered corporate packages with volume-based discounts and customised quotations. A deposit may be required for booking.

Are vaccinations tax-deductible or covered by insurance?

Some corporate vaccination programmes may be claimable under company insurance or wellness benefits. We provide invoices and documentation for HR/Finance teams to process claims.

Do employees need to fast before vaccination?

No fasting is required. Staff should be in good health and inform our medical team of any allergies or medical conditions before vaccination.

Do you provide records and certificates?

Yes. Every vaccination is properly documented. Certificates are issued where required (e.g., Yellow Fever, Meningococcal for Hajj). We can also prepare HR summary reports and send reminders for follow-up or booster doses.

Do you provide follow-up for multi-dose vaccines?

Yes. For vaccines such as Hepatitis B or HPV, we track employee schedules and can return for follow-up sessions or arrange in-clinic appointments. Annual reminders are also available for seasonal vaccines like influenza.

What safety measures are in place during vaccination drives?

Our doctors and nurses follow strict medical protocols. Emergency equipment is available on-site, and employees are monitored briefly after vaccination to ensure safety.

Can expatriates and frequent travellers benefit from this service?

Yes. We provide comprehensive travel vaccines, malaria prophylaxis, and internationally recognised certificates to ensure compliance with destination requirements.

How do we get started?

Simply contact us with your workforce size and vaccine needs. We’ll prepare a tailored proposal with scheduling options, cost estimates, and delivery methods (on-site or in-clinic) to suit your company.
